Geeta Singh
Geeta Singh brings more than 30 years of experience in financial and operational management in multinational corporate and entrepreneurial companies with an extraordinarily diverse and accomplished track record. She has held various executive positions and most recently as co-founder & CEO in an early stage ophthalmic medical device company - MAG Optics. She also serves as a consultant to other early stage companies/entrepreneurs.
Geeta has worked in varied environments, multinational corporations, start-ups/early stage, SME and social enterprises. She is a critical thinker who brings a powerful combination of strategic insight and business acumen to formulate strategic objectives and operationalize, while leading high performing, cross-functional, global teams. Her experience spans a variety of sectors and functional areas and provides the ability to rapidly assess strategic as well as situational challenges and create a plan that translates into outcomes. She has worked with primarily C-level, senior leadership and executive boards to identify and execute a wide range of strategic initiatives, implement change management and develop relevant business models to help drive business transformation. Her transaction experience includes international joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and cross-border merger & acquisitions.
Geeta spent the first half of her career at Fortune 500 multinationals including Allstate Corporation and ABN AMRO London focused on strategic/financial planning and analysis, capital strategy, cross-border M&A transactions, international expansion and corporate strategic advisory. She has lived and worked in the US, London, Hong Kong, and Poland and brings valuable experience in identifying and structuring business models for various cross border strategic initiatives. She has completed a number of buy/sell side transactions ranging from $200MM to over $10B in public and private deals.
Transitioning to the entrepreneurial environment, Geeta has spent the last 15 years leading the development and growth of early stage companies through robust market and stakeholder analysis. Having worked with several early stage start-ups, she has extensive experience developing all areas of business including capital, revenue, strategic business partner development as well as marketing/ communication. Her multifaceted perspectives blend a powerful combination of qualitative and quantitative acumen that has spanned industries that include life sciences, healthcare, casino/hospitality, real estate, social enterprises, manufacturing, and financial services.
